13/10 – [FAN] Yuchun has already stepped into the path of Chungmuro, Chunsas have to grow up too.
My note : After reading this long written article by a chinese chunsa, I’m totally agreed with what she wrote…
I was so MAD with some so called chunsas who kept retweeting photos of Yuchun with beanie during filming of “Movie – Sea Fog” taken from weibo, obviously those photos are lifted from the same person weibo account
I have been monitoring this account and she has many followers…
That’s her motive to attract attention to go to her weibo…
This person always posted all those unglam photos of yuchun or those secretly took ones….
She even anyhow spread BAD RUMOURS of Yuchun ….WTF!!!
We all know she is trying to harm Yuchun and she is NOT a TRUE CHUNSA!
If you are a true fan of Yuchun, please spare a few minutes to read the below article and you will feel the same way as I do~

It does not matter if you are the handsome and charming man, or the young flower boy last time. As long as it is you, everything is well!
Seeing his image now, if you are those people who emphasize more on physical appearance, do you miss him being like this?
Yes, during his idol days, his style of clothing was very elegant. Every little detail of his style was able to lead the fashion world. His every attractive and luring stare could make a bunch of young girls go crazy for him. Are you hoping that he continues to be like this for the rest of his career?
Of course, I like him being like this too. Looking soft and tender, being clever and smart. In the country where idols = sissy, (T/N: This is direct translation from the original author. It does not represent our FC’s stand in any way.) his existence has totally changed my perspective. Of course his existence is the one and only in the industry. There were countless of new groups debuting after that but all of them have the same face. The freshness Park YuChun possessed was unique.
Recently, YuChun’s appearance is like this. A simple and not complicated style, a forever calm face and smart casual clothing. He does not talk even talk much now. Without his fringe, without the detailed styling of his hair and clothing, is there anyone who start to feel uncomfortable already?
Do not say “no”. In reality, you do feel uncomfortable.
Every time when he appears, for sure there are some voices around giving bad comments.
Why is he getting darker?
Why is he getting fatter?
Why is he wearing beanie again?
Why is his clothes so simple?
In this generation of freedom of speech, we do not have the rights to forbid the words and actions of other people but in my heart, I have screamed “this is none of your business!”countless times in my heart.
This is a drama still shot that blew me off completely. A yellowish hue adding to the sadness in between the eyebrows for the main character. The longing and loneliness under the streetlamp is fully reflected in his gaze. At this moment, I deeply feel that he is just purely an actor. He totally stripped off the signature of Park YuChun. At this very moment, he is Han Jung Woo. That Han Jung Woo who has been waiting for 14 years, gradually growing into an adult.
As to why I’m mentioning about this, I will continue below.
If you are admiring YuChun as a by-passer before the airing of “Missing You”, then during the process of following up with the drama is the time when you will truly fall for him. Previously I was one of those people who emphasized on the physical appearance of celebrities. The first thing was their faces, then only acting skills and their personalities came in. If you want to say that I was shallow, I do not deny it but if you do not have the ability to make people admire you, where does the purpose of admiration comes from?
About YuChun’s face, I always say that he is handsome. From the perspective of a obsessed fan, not only his exquisite V-shape small chubby face, the cute humps on his back, or his pouty lips, all of them do not fail to become my weak points. However, from the perspective of purely looking at an actor’s face of YuChun, I really do not have much to comment.I will say it shortly then. Why does he possess a face that is well received by the Korean drama and movie industry among the idols. (I have been babbling a lot in this article. This is due to my absence in writing for too long and it’s hard for me to stop now. Please be considerate. Ha~)
That’s right. You have not seen wrongly. The three photos all belong to the same person but the personality that they portray are totally different from each other.
The first photo he looks so cool and thin. This is his classic watermelon hairstyle and blue shirt during his idol generation. Charming and sexy but still able to maintain his cuteness. Under the spotlights, standing in the center of the stage, attracting countless people. Not many people are able to manage this hairstyle until this day.
Coming up is this picture. It is a photo taken during the press conference of Rooftop Prince. A classic image of a male character of Korean drama, a specially designed hairstyle with fashionable clothing in addition to the warm smile of the main character. All these represent the classic image of a Hallyu star. Korea, being a country which exports its culture, YuChun’s all four dramas must have contributed a lot of foreign currency to his country.
Yes, He can never be the youngster to fans forever. He will grow up.
- pure Chunsa group
- fans of previous five-member group a.k.a HOU ZI, among them there are Chunsas and non-Chunsas
- fans of current three-member group a.k.a TUAN ZI, also among them are Chunsas and non-Chunsas
- pure fans group of another four members
- fans of current two-member group
- lastly, all kinds of couple worshipping groups
The former 3 groups of the above said, the two groups of pure Chunsa group and Chunsas from five or three-member group, all of them are truly loving YuChun. Actually it doesn’t matter if you are a pure Chunsa or you are Chunsa who is supporting the group. Nevermind about this. As long as you carefully keep watch on your purpose of loving YuChun from the start, aiding YuChun in any ways, this will be the best support towards him. Among other group of fans, everyone do not interfere with each other’s business.
Of course, after becoming an actor, YuChun has acted in few popular dramas which are well-acknowledged even among non-fans audience. There are a lot of people who are not aware of Hallyu will also know of his existence even though they do not know of his name but once you mention crown prince and “Missing You”, a lot of people will respond to it.
A person who has such high popularity definitely is a good source for some groups of people who yearn for popularity too. Isn’t it so? Thus, some people start to set out their plan, hiding their own identities, reaching out to the same group of people. They use pictures and names of YuChun, spread some resources, spread some information from the saesangs to get attention, attracting more people. This is how one by one those “high-level fans” is produced.
After they obtained certain level of popularity, the next step is to brainwash people. They transform by-passers into fans of other celebrities. There are a lot of successful examples. I have seen a lot of examples on articles of new fans from other celebrities’ forum.
In spite of their trick in treating other fans, we do not have any solution in stopping them but it is necessary to analyse the harm they will cause. The harms that I am talking about, cannot be interpreted simply as potential fans shifting to other celebrities, not supporting YuChun anymore. Actually this is just the surface of the problems. YuChun himself is not the type of person who likes to ask his fans spending money on him. His acting fee is one of the highest in the industry.
The harms that I am talking about has deeper meanings. It will jeopardize his acting career. The actions of these saesangs so-called high level fans will cause YuChun what kind of harms, I will continue to analyse as below.
My description about the fandoms and fake fans above seems a bit abstract so I will provide an actual proof. Let’s take on the incident that happened today. What has happened today is the reason I am writing this article.
This morning, I saw some blurry photos posted among Chunsas. The person in the photo is of course our YuChun with his favourite beanie. I immediately thought of his no make-up face has something to do with Dong Shik. I felt uneasy in my heart. Could it be that the photos were taken without permission at the shooting site? After asking some friends only I knew the photos were from a saesang in weibo.
After logging into weibo, I found the original source, realizing that it was from a familiar so called “high-level fans”. I have a deep impression on this person as before this she had a very vulgar ID. Although she has changed her name, there is still abnormal feelings lingering around. That is why when I looked at this person’s weibo, I immediately recalled back.
I further read her posts in weibo. This person has revealed a lot of information about the shooting of the movie. She self proclaimed that she has seen Dong Shik’s image in the movie. A lot of Chunsas who did not know the truth begged her for more information.
There were also many rational Chunsas who advised her to delete her posts and be careful of her own words in the future but this person did not listen to those advice. The Chunsas who advised her were attacked by her group of friends. These people all have one common ground: they are not Chunsa.
This incident did not end here but there will be a reversal. I will explained this next.
The reversal of the story is like this: in reality that person never went to the shooting location at all. The photos she posted were received from the saesang ahjusshi. (T/N: Saesang ahjusshi usually refers to the taxi drivers hired by saesang fans to follow their idols) Saesang ahjusshi has warned them not to spread out these photos. However, the Hangul level of this so called “high-level fans” is still low so she did not understand his warning. After she received the photos, she could not wait to spread out the photos, using this to gain attention.
In reality, what is this person doing at the same time? She was participating a fanmeeting. She is really brilliant in pretending to be a good fan. After the truth was revealed, her account was deleted since then.
The whole incident about what happened is roughly what i had explained. Well then, I will do some analysis according this incident as below.
This so called “high-level fans” did not even go to the shooting site and she was already using some blurry photos to trick other Chunsas. Please imagine that if she had gone to the shooting site, with her showing off personality, will she give up the opportunity to secretly take photos? Will she be willing to give up such great opportunity?
If she is a true Chunsa, she will be well-behaved at the shooting site. She won’t be making any noise, causing any troubles or taking photos because Chunsas know very well that any careless actions will affect YuChun’s future. That is why Chunsas will never do that.
But how about these Chunsas pretenders? Who is Park YuChun to them? Is he more important than their vanity as “high-level fans”?
They will never and unwilling to think of this question. Maybe because of a flash from the camera, one or maybe even more amazing scene have to be edit out during the later part of the movie production. This may cause director to lose his inspiration. Maybe due to this blurry photo taken by fans will leak out the image of Dong Shik to the public, greatly reducing the anticipation of the public. Maybe there will be more and more side effects but they only know that as long as they own these photos that are secretly taken, they will be able to maintain their position of “high-level fans”.
They are owning the existence they yearned for by sacrificing YuChun’s future. They will not feel guilty, thinking that this is not real love and they do not care less of him. We are not able to stop the existence of this group of people but we can still do something that is within our own ability.
What to do? We have to ignore posts from this group of people. Do not comment, do not share out their posts or photos. We must always alert ourselves, a click of “share” button from us will cause how much harm? If you see posts and comments from unknown sources, please try to advise the person who posted it. If she is a true Chunsa, she will understand it.
All of us have to put in our best effort to get rid of the polluted elements in our fandom. May the radiance of the diamond of Chunsas become more sparkling, more translucent.
I shall stop here today. Thanks to everyone who has taken notice of my article.
To be continued…
