Congratulation! Is indeed GOOD NEWS for JYJ’s fans especially Japanese fans…

But compared to japanese fans, we the international fans seem like being left out all the times

Is just my own opinion… I just hope C-JES can be FAIR to all the fans , not just only to Japanese fans..

We know JYJ is going to enlist this year, please let us have more time to see them in activities, fanmeets, concerts

Hope they can have Asia Tour Concerts in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam etc…..

C-JeS Entertainment has officially announced that the legal dispute between JYJ and its former Japanese management, Avex, has come to an end.

On February 16, entertainment agency C-Jes uploaded a press release on its official homepage regarding its artist group JYJ. It announced, “C-JeS (JYJ) and Avex have agreed to end all legal disputes that have occurred between the two parties until now. Henceforth, C-JeS (JYJ) and Avex will longer meddle in each other’s activities.

Previously, the Tokyo District Court ruled in favor of JYJ and ordered Avex to compensate the group for interfering with its activities in Japan. Avex immediately appealed the decision, and a related source revealed, “Through the mediation of the Tokyo District Court, both sides decided to settle.

The CEO of C-JeS Entertainment, Baek Chang Joo, expressed his pleasure at having the dispute end and the road to JYJ’s activities in Japan open. Baek Chang Joo stated, “It is most meaningful that as we have agreed with Avex that it will no longer meddle in JYJ’s activities, the group’s activities in Japan has been legally guaranteed. We are happy that JYJ’s long legal dispute has ended and are hopeful that JYJ will be able to meet their Japanese fans more closely and more often.”

JYJ will be able to resume their activities in Japan.

On February 16th, C-JeS Entertainment wrote on their official website, “C-JeS and AVEX finally agreed on concluding all of the lawsuits that have been going on between us. C-JeS and AVEX respectively will not interfere in each other’s activities from now on.”

In January 2013, Japan’s Tokyo Regional Court ordered AVEX to halt claiming rights to monopolize JYJ’s management in Japan, and to pay C-JeS Entertainment approximately 660 million Japanese Yen in damages.

An official of C-JeS said, “However, AVEX made an appeal, and we finally deduced a negotiation thanks to Tokyo High Court’s mediation.”

After getting their management contracts with SM Entertainment cancelled back in November, 2009, JYJ signed a new management contract with C-JeS Entertainment and AVEX.

However, C-JeS and AVEX started having conflicts about JYJ’s promotion, and AVEX notified cancellation of contract in September, 2010. Afterwards, C-JeS also notified cancellation of contract, and managed JYJ’s Japan management by themselves.

Afterwards, AVEX claimed that they have rights to monopolize JYJ’s promotion in Japan, and C-JeS sued AVEX. C-JeS won in the trial, and the whole lawsuit finally concluded.

Chief executive officer Baek Chang Joo of C-JeS Entertainment said, “We’d like to express sincere thanks to Japanese judiciary.”

He went on, “AVEX agreed on not interfering in JYJ’s activities in the future, and JYJ will be able to resume their Japanese career. All of and JYJ members are very glad that the lawsuit was finally concluded, and we hope to meet Japanese fans as soon as possible.”
